KARL OLES, ERC Board Chair
Karl works as an attorney whose focus is construction work, both transactions and disputes. He was recruited to the Board by a contractor and an architect who had been involved with some of ERC’s building projects. Karl is also an advocate for the elderly having seen that this is a growing population facing an uncertain future and is proud that ERC strives to discern and promote Christian values in what it does.
MARIE VILLA, M.D., ERC Board Vice-Chair
Marie is board certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics and Hospice and Palliative Care. She was recruited to ERC by a member of her church in 2001, as the Board required geriatric expertise. Her ability to help — her entire professional career is caring for vulnerable adults —coupled with her spiritual beliefs in caring for our elders made for the perfect fit.
DEBRA THOMPSON, ERC Board Member
Debra is a nurse practitioner and works in the burn unit at Harborview Medical Center. Knowing that Debra has a particular interest in the elderly and experience in nursing homes, assisted living facilities and home visits, Dr. Marie Villa thought her a good fit for the Board. Debra believes that our seniors need strong, professional advocates.
